Salesforce Integration

Connect your CRM using BYOK architecture.

Connect your Salesforce CRM to import Opportunities directly as Velocibid Projects. Uses a secure Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) architecture for maximum security and control.

Why BYOK?

Instead of using a shared generic app, you configure a "Connected App" inside your own Salesforce instance. This gives you full control over permissions, usage limits, and security policies.

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Create Connected App in Salesforce

Log in to Salesforce Setup and navigate to App Manager.
Click New Connected App and fill in the basics (Name, Contact Email).

Important: Enable OAuth Settings and add the following Callback URL:

https://www.velocibid.com/api/integrations/salesforce/callback

(Select "Access and manage your data (api)" and "Perform requests on your behalf at any time (refresh_token, offline_access)" scopes).

Step 2: Copy Credentials

Once saved, wait 2-10 minutes for Salesforce to propagate changes. Click Consumer Key and Secret (Manage Consumer Details) to view your secrets.

Step 3: Connect in Velocibid

Go to Settings > Integrations and click Connect Salesforce.
Enter your Consumer Key and Client Secret in the secure modal.

Organization-Wide Sync

Just like HubSpot, this connection is shared. Once an Admin configures the Integration, all authorized team members can see and import opportunities.

Practical Implementation Notes

This guide is designed to help proposal, security, and operations teams execute Salesforce Integration consistently inside Velocibid. If you are onboarding new contributors, use this page as a standard operating reference and pair it with related documentation so your team follows one repeatable workflow.

For stronger outcomes, combine this playbook with adjacent guides in the same lifecycle stage (discovery, response, compliance, and delivery). Cross-functional teams that align their process across these modules typically reduce rework and improve proposal quality.
