Watchlist & Pipeline
Qualify, prioritize, and advance opportunities through a structured bid pipeline with role-based controls and AI analysis.
The Watchlist is your command center for deciding what to bid on. Unlike a simple list, it uses a Smart Kanban Board to guide you through a proven 4-stage decision workflow.
1. Triage (Inbox)
New opportunities arrive here. Your goal is to quickly scan them. Use the Qualify button to move valuable leads to Analysis, or Discard junk.
2. Analysis (Deep Dive)
This is where research happens. Use the Analyze Fit AI tool to check requirements. Only perform this deep work on qualified leads.
3. Bidding (Committed)
Approved deals go here. This unlocks the Draft Proposal button, which creates a dedicated project workspace.
4. No Bid (Archived)
Keep a record of what you rejected. You can always Revive a deal if circumstances change.
AI "Analyze Fit"
Don't waste days reading 100-page RFPs just to find a show-stopper requirement. Click the Analyze Fit button on any card in the Analysis column.
- Win Probability Score: A 0-100% confidence rating based on your profile.
- Critical Requirements: Instantly spots "Must Haves" (e.g., Facility Clearance, ISO Cert).
- Gap Analysis: Highlights where you might be weak so you can team up or address it.
Team Roles & Security
Velocibid enforces strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to keep your pipeline managed.
Admins & Editors
Can move cards, approve deals, and start proposals. Full control over the pipeline.
Viewers (Analysts)
Read-Only Access. Viewers cannot move cards or approve bids. However, they can run the Analyze Fit tool to research opportunities for the team.
Next Step: Bid Intelligence
Once you've identified promising opportunities in your Watchlist, use Bid Intelligence to make data-driven Go/No-Go decisions. The system pulls directly from your pipeline to auto-populate assessment forms.

This guide is designed to help proposal, security, and operations teams execute Watchlist & Pipeline consistently inside Velocibid. If you are onboarding new contributors, use this page as a standard operating reference and pair it with related documentation so your team follows one repeatable workflow.
For stronger outcomes, combine this playbook with adjacent guides in the same lifecycle stage (discovery, response, compliance, and delivery). Cross-functional teams that align their process across these modules typically reduce rework and improve proposal quality.
